Fundraiser for DA Chesa Boudin

Event: RDDC Fundraiser for DA Chesa Boudin

Join us this coming Saturday, March 12th, from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at Bazaar Cafe (5927 California Street) for a fundraiser to OPPOSE the recall of our District Attorney. We will gather together alongside 20 years of Richmond progressive politics — Supervisors Chan, Fewer, Mar, and McGoldrick — to support DA Boudin. We hope to see you there! The DA himself will be there too.

This will be our first in-person event since COVID and we are looking forward to coming together for such an important cause. Refreshments will be provided (there will be an espresso bar!) as well as assortments from the cafe.

Please share with your networks and let’s show our DA that the Richmond has his back!

Supervisor Chan has spearheaded a resolution on the future of car-free Golden Gate Park. Kelly Groth from her office has already presented on this resolution to the executive board and to the general membership in August. 2020 was a difficult year for everyone, but we also had a lot of amazing wins. From choosing our new District 1 Supervisor to taking back the White House, we should be proud of everything we accomplished despite of all of the hardships we endured.

They say that hindsight is 2020. And while 2021 has had a rough start, we have so much to be hopeful for this year! While we still can't be together in person, we can still get together online. Join us for our annual Winter Social to kick of the coming year!

Join RDDC as we get back into swing with our first virtual General Membership meeting since the beginning of Shelter in place. To participate in this meeting, please register here.

We will be discussing ballot measures A-L (San Francisco), RR (Regional), and 14-24 State) at this meeting. After the meeting we will be sending a ballot to all members in good standing to vote on these measures, as well as candidates for City College Board of Trustees and San Francisco Board of Education. Recommendations for College Board and School Board will be made by the board; however, we encourage members to view the interviews before voting if needed.

Candidates for SFBOE are:

San Francisco Board of Education Interviews

The RDDC Board will be interviewing candidates for the San Francisco Board of Education. While the interviews will not be open to our general membership, they will be live-streamed via Facebook Live. We will be taking questions solicited from members to be asked during the interview. If you have a question, please send them to hello@rddcsf.com.

Candidates will be interviewed based on their questionnaire, member-submitted questions, and confirmation of registration as a Democrat. Members are encouraged to view the interviews as we will be sending an electronic secret ballot out on the 27th.

Candidates whoa re qualified for the ballot are are:
